Progress

I was just doing some reaserch on the Epicurean school and I came to an interesting realization: Epicureanism used to convince grown men. The three major schools of helenistic thought were stoicism, skepticism, and epicureanism. This implies that one in three of the greatest thinkers of the helenistic period actually bought into this theory and used it as a model for their lives. Contrast this with the present day when the only people who would support such a theory are bored teens with too many philosophy books. Progress is interesting.
